Summary of Duties

The Director of Regulatory Compliance is responsible and accountable for Regulatory compliance and management initiatives for San Joaquin Community Hospital.  The Director is responsible for providing overall direction, development, implementation and integration of the Regulatory Compliance program that includes compliance with Joint Commission, Federal, State and local reporting requirements. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure: Current unrestricted California Registered Nursing licensure (RN)

Three years regulatory management experience preferred

Advanced training/knowledge of Joint Commission, Title 22, CMS Conditions of Participation and other regulatory requirements preferred.

Demonstrates advanced level problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities

Professional verbal and written skills for high level communication within the hospital and at interdisciplinary and administrative meetings and meeting high demands for developing written proposals, preparing budgets, writing evaluations and developing standards and Performance Improvement (PI) reports

Strong mental/intellectual abilities of critical thinking, comparative analysis, statistical control application, and decision making to provide direction to area staff and assist Executive leadership with hospital wide program planning/execution/evaluation

Strong organization and self discipline with attention to detail and accuracy
