MSLA - Business Analyst - Cypress, CA

MSLA is a Medical Corporation that provides comprehensive independent medical evaluations (IME) and other IME related services to the government and private industry. The Business Analyst (BA) will conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending and presenting information for operational and business planning.  The BA will support short and long term operational / strategic business activities by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models.  Contribute to the development and implementation of effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Methodically explore the organization’s data  with an emphasis on statistical analytics
Participate in gathering of detailed business, functional (e.g., reporting requirements, transactions) , and non - functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, capacity, data integrity)
Seek opportunities to improve operating efficiencies / effectiveness
Identifies solutions to non - standard requests and problems.
Analyze and balance risk / reward considerations for identified solutions
Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
Employ predictive analytics to run scenarios that will help guide future actions
Acts as resource for others

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Proficient with statistical business analytics
