As a Parts Counterperson at Checkered Flag, you will be at the forefront of the automotive industry. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment and technology in state-of-the-art facilities.  

Responsibilities

As a Parts Counterperson, you will greet customers and consult with them on their vehicle parts and merchandise needs while providing exceptional customer service.  The Parts Counterperson is one of the points of contact between our customers and service team.

As a Parts Counterperson, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:

• Assess customer satisfaction with products, services and prices, on a continuing basis. 
• Actively assist customers in the resolution of any problems/ concerns, offering solutions or immediately notifying the appropriate individual(s) to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with daily inventory, receiving, stocking and shipping
• Learning new product and technical information and techniques to stay proficient in automotive parts

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is high energy, driven, and has proven customer service skills. A successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented with solid organizational and time-management skills, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong customer service and active-listening abilities. The ideal candidate is someone with a winning attitude who sees obstacles as opportunities.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Working knowledge of computers; ADP experience, preferred
• Someone with dealership experience, basic understanding of the automotive system and  parts experience preferred
• Passion to change a onetime customer into a “Customer for Life”
