The Role: Are you passionate about retail and giving customers a "wow" experience in a customer friendly retail store setting? Responsibilities

As a Retail Regional Manager, a typical day would include the following:

  • Lead up to 12 Retail Business Development Managers (RBDMS).
  • Serve as the the key point of contact between Retail HQ and field leadership.
  • Lead RBDMs for Company Owned stores in a matrix structure. 
  • Work closely with District and General Managers at the operations level.
  • Lead RBDMs for Independently Owned stores, with a direct reporting relationship.
  • Work closely with Sales and General Managers to effectively build relationships with independent owners.
  • Act as the key authority on retail initiatives,
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and train Retail Business Development Managers (RBDM) to ensure results are achieved.
  • Deliver training and coaching for all RBDMs within a geographical area.

Qualifications

What we need from you to be great in this role:  

  • Ability to understand and demonstrate retail essentials such as store merchandizing, promotional displays, and price label accuracy.
  • 4+ years experience in retail having achieved level of multi store leadership, in the capacity of either Area Manager, District Manager, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead retail teams and display strong influencing skills.
  • Must possess passion for customer service and demonstrate professionalism, good judgment and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and persuade both virtually and in person and possess problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrates organizational and planning skills, practice time management, meet deadlines and display a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates initiative and take action when appropriate, continuously strive for self-improvement.
  • Possesses good business acumen and ability to make decisions based on analytics available.
  • Ability to lead a senior team with proven ability to develop an accountable and empowered work environment.
  • Work is performed in a typical office environment and retail store environment. In retail store there may exposure to noise, dust, fumes, or temperature shifts.
  • Travel to the various operations, estimated to be approximately 70-80% of time, required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree or equivalent sales experience or successful retail management experience preferred.
