SR ANALYST PRO PRICING ANALYTICS

POSITION PURPOSE
This position designs, executes and leads multiple data-intensive projects related to pro customer pricing programs, including the Volume Pricing Program (Bid Room) and HD Quote Center. The senior analyst should be able to leverage a strong merchandising knowledge base, a proven record of business process improvement, and data handling proficiency to be an agent for driving business value and organizational change. This person ensures timely completion of assigned tasks during the project life cycle and identifies areas for improvement in existing processes. The senior analyst also possesses exceptional communications skills and is able to effectively manage expectations of stakeholders, the project team and executive management.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
40%- Analytics and Reporting: Leverage merchandising and financial expertise to develop analytical frameworks and report on metrics of assigned projects to gauge business value (ROI).
40%- Business Process Design and Improvement: Supports continuous process improvement by identifying potential opportunities to enhance The Home Depot?s business processes as they relate to Volume Pricing Program and Quote Center.
20%- Project Management: Partners with senior/department management and cross-functional teams to define business needs/requirements, project plans, risk assessments, communication, implementation, training and change management.

This position reports to Sr Manager.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
5+ yrs business experience and/or management consulting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:-Proficient in business process evaluation and procedure development
-Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all tools, processes, methodologies and standards for requirements gathering, documentation and analysis.
-Previous experience supervising professionals
-Experience or in-depth knowledge of retail merchandising and/or logistics; possesses cross functional retail knowledge.

-Demonstrated experience in process improvement and/or SDLC and project management methodology PC proficiency, including knowledge of worksheet, word processing, project management and presentation applications
