Ideal Skillset of an Assistant Designer/Interior Design Sales Canidate:

-Outgoing and friendly personality

-Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

-Awareness and INTEREST in the Design industry

-Cash register and or QuickBooks experience

-Self-Starter, Quick Lerner, and TEAM PLAYER

-3-5 years of experience in retail, design, or customer service

What an Assistant Designer/Interior Design Sales team Member Does:

-Supports the Senior design staff with their projects by:

                1.Pricing out Furnishings, Draperies, etc., Checking Stock availability of these items

               2. Maintains catalog and fabric library and does necessary updates

-Supports showroom operations by:

               1. Assisting Clients in the showroom to select merchandise appropriate for their space

               2. Assist our Visual Merchandiser with floor moves and merchandising new product

               3. Help run the day to day functions of the showroom, including opening and or closing
