Crothall is hiring energetic staff for our Patient Transporter part time position. The duties are as follows:

• Transports patients safely by stretcher, bed or wheelchair to and from their unit and to the main lobby.
• Communicates well and reports changes in the patient during transport to staff at hand off location.
• Assists patients during standing and transfers from bed to stretcher, bed to wheelchair, etc.
• Dresses equipment and removes soiled linen.
• Assists patients and family members by responding to inquiries and providing information based on departmental and organizational policy.
• Ensures that transport equipment is cleaned and properly maintained.
• Performs related duties such as reporting equipment malfunctions and assisting others
• Demonstrates high standard of performance (teamwork communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and putting the Patient First.
• Ability to adhere to HIPPA and OSHA Standards and procedures

Job Type: Part-time   Salary: $10.25 /hour

Required education: High School Diploma or equivalent
