Full Time Permanent director of nursing position in a Long term care setting at Glendive, MT
This is a full time, exempt position responsible for the overall nursing operations of Extended Care, a 71 skilled nursing facility.
The DON is responsible for overseeing all nursing staff functions and resident care. This position includes daily interaction with an interdisciplinary team who work together to coordinate resident care.
Successful applicants must be team oriented, flexible in their work schedule, and able to reprioritize as changes occur while remaining focused on making resident needs the priority. Being willing to work with the Administrative Team to interpret and apply state and federal regulation in the clinical setting with an emphasis on quality assurance and compliance processes will be essential.
- Current Montana RN license
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in the geriatrics field
- Previous supervisory/management experience
- BSN preferred
