Registered Nurse / RN – Emergency DepartmentUnit Description:Boca Raton Regional Hospital's Emergency Department was updated in January 2013 and has 43 private treatment rooms with a remodeled triage area and nursing stations that provide greater efficiency and improved communications between caregivers, patients, and family members. The ED has approximately 46,000 patient visits per year and is equipped to treat all patient types and illnesses. Registered Nurses on staff in the BRRH Emergency Department can expect to have an average patient ratio of 4:1 and the department continues to have a very high patient satisfaction grade from Press Ganey.Our Ideal Candidate...We are seeking experienced Emergency Room RN's who have the desire to give compassionate care to patients who find themselves in an unfamiliar environment. Our ideal candidate must have at least one year of previous RN experience in an emergency room setting. This person must be professional, have a desire to be part of a team, have a positive attitude, and must be committed to delivering the highest quality of care to our patients.Minimum Qualifications:* Current Florida Registered Nurse Licensure* Current BLS, ACLS, PALS issued by the American Heart Association* Minimum of 1 year ED RN experience (will consider experienced RN's with critical care/telemetry background)* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
