Lube Tech - Full-time / Part-time

Do you like working with tools and mechanical parts? If so we have a very interesting position for you! Motorcycle part manufacturing facility in Piney Flats, TN is looking for a Lube Tech to work in their Forge Shop.  Position is on 2nd shift and is screen-to-hire after 90 days. Apply today! 


Primary Function: 

• Lubricate plant equipment.
• Assist other Maintenance personnel as needed.

Tools and Equipment:  

• Power grease gun and hand grease gun, oil cans, hand tools, forklift, grease truck

  PPE:

• Safety boots, Safety Glasses, Hard Hat with Ear Muffs, Earplugs, Safety Harness, Face Shield, Gloves

Materials:

• Plant tools, various greases and oils

Source of Supervision:

 

• Maintenance Foremen

Working Procedure:

 

• Receives instructions and assignments from Maintenance Foremen
• Maintain accurate records of equipment lubricated according to lubrication PM schedule
• Inform Stockroom attendant of stock levels of grease and oils and orders it on a timely basis.
• Maintain proper level of lubricants in equipment as directed by lubrication schedule or Maintenance Foreman
• Provide accurate accounting of labor and parts used via IMaint work order system
• Replaces defective fittings, repairs broken or damaged lubrication lines, informs Maintenance Foreman of defective lubrication units.
• Changes empty lubrication containers as needed
• Must keep excess grease and oils off equipment and floor.
• Keep oil storage area clean and orderly at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and precautions

Requirements:

• Candidates must have verifiable work history and must meet drug screen and background screen requirements
