The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the directives of the General Manager and maintaining smooth operation of the lodge in the General Manager’s absence.  The primary focus of this position is ensuring that all areas of the resort are meeting and/or exceeding the guests’ expectations.  The Assistant General Manager is directly and solely responsible for the effective daily operation of the Front Office, and is expected to additionally provide support to the Housekeeping, Dining Room and Corral departments.  This position generally works a 50 - 60 hour work week.

The “must haves” for this position include:

  • 2 years of Hospitality experience or 2 years of college level education
  • 1 year of Supervisory experience
  • 1 year of Front Desk experience
  • Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Windows and Property Management Systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent People Skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Valid US Driver’s License

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

  • Hospitality Degree
  • Luxury Hotel experience
