Staffmark is hiring for a World leading producer of paper-based packaging recycling Company in the Dallas/Garland/Forney/Arlington areas.
Our Client in the Recycling industry manufactures paper-based packaging from recycled materials. They have over 370 operations worldwide located in 21 countries.
The positions are long term with opportunity for permanent status.
Dallas plant is seeking:
Forklift Opr Pay $12-$14/hour, depending on experience
Schedule (work hours): M-F, 5:00am -- 5:00pm, occasional Saturdays
Skills Requirements: Must have 6 months experience driving a sit-down forklift moving a lot of product in a fast-paced environment. Any distribution center where a person loaded 10+ trucks per day or warehouse where a person moved and stacked 500 or more pallets of product per day.
Operate a sit-down forklift in a fast and safe manner. This person will be operating a forklift all day, not just as part of another job. Will be working on about 5 different projects at the same time, each one of them in 5 minute increments throughout the day. (For example, move bales off the baler and stack them every 10 minutes. In between that, be loading trucks and sweeping up the back of the plant. When there are not trucks to load, be up in the front of the plant every 10-15 minutes to help unload smaller trucks with bales. When that activity is slow, unload and dump pallets of cardboard off a trailer at the dock. In between all that, maintain the forklift and keep it clean.)
Able to work in a very hot or very cold environment (due to weather) and be able to sit on a forklift for long periods.
