5 openings for each department.

All departments are fast paced and may be requested to work up to 10 hours per day (no weekends).

Kitting room - start time either 2:30 pm or 3 pm

  • cutting fabric and padding
  • plying materials together
  • pulling different components to create an assembly kit for the lay up room
  • stacking layers of fabric/padding
  • They also have some machinery for cutting fabric (slitter) which they will train certain employees on if they feel they are capable (40 hours of training)

Lay up room (basic assembly) - 3 pm - 11:30 pm (10 hour days most of the time)

  • Assembly
  • Taping
  • Velcro
  • creating the base of the seats
  • no power tools or machinery is generally used
  • Light work but fast paced
  • The room is slightly colder (about 10-15 degrees)

Press room - 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

  • Candidates will be operating steel mold press machines
  • They will receive at least 40 hours of training
  • Every 2 people will run 5 machines at a time (2.5 per person)
  • Steel toe shoes are preferred
  • This dept. is slightly warmer (about 10-15 degrees)
  • Candidates must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Machine shop - 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

  • Candidates will operate mills or lathes (Haas and Maxis)
  • Checking the parts for imperfections from machining
  • They will also deburr, grind, sanding etc.
  • Candidates will only operate the machine (pressing buttons) and deburr/grind the product to remove sharp edges - no set ups, programming, or anything that technical
  • They will receive at least 40 hours of training
  • Steel toe shoes are preferred
  • Candidates must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Finishing - 3 pm - 11:30 pm

  • Cleaning the product
  • Wiping the product down with cleaner
  • Applying sealants and adhesives to fix imperfections from machining
  • They will be working with sealants, acetones, and cleaning products so there may be a smell
  • Light work but fast paced

Finish Assembly - 3 pm - 11:30 pm

  • Assembly the seats with power tools and basic machinery such as a rivet gun or drill press
  • Applying rivets, screws, fasteners
  • May also work with sealants, acetones, and cleaning products so there may be a smell
  • Candidates must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
