Delivery Driver

Job Description: A Delivery Driver will drive a company box truck or van to deliver product to customers or to pick up products from vendors. This position stocks and maintains pantry kitchens while maintaining a strong focus on providing an exceptional customer experience.  This position is also responsible for reviewing and confirming the contents of their vehicle prior to beginning their route.  This position may also require some work in the warehouse and reports directly to the warehouse manager. 

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: 

* 3+ years of delivery or comparable experience

* Must possess a valid Class C driver's license that has been active for a minimum of 5 years. * No major moving violations within the last 7 years

* Able to work an early shift starting at 7:00am

Additional Qualifications:

* Previous experience with customer service & hospitality encouraged to apply * Previous inventory tracking experience preferred, but not required * Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively * Quickly able to add, subtract and divide basic math equations * Previous route driving experience is helpful * Able to pass background check

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

* Loads product into assigned vehicle and drives to a customer location according to an established schedule and route

* Removes outdated/damaged product and stocks pantry kitchens to established inventory par levels; Performs routine machine cleaning; restocks counters with supplies.

* Records service transactions on appropriate forms and/or electronic device, distributes required paperwork, as required. Reports improper machine operation; conducts minor repairs and adjustments on machines.

* Ensures proper handling and rotation of perishable products during transport and at account.

* Resolves or reports customer complaints and machine malfunctions using proper channels.

* Introduces customers to new products, services and company promotions.

* Cleans trash from vehicle and performs daily vehicle operative checks. Reports vehicle problems; secures keys and vehicle. * Maintains a clean, safe work environment.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week.
