Primary Responsibilities:
  • Owns output and quality within assigned areas, collaborates on overall production
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion

  • Coordinates work activities with other supervisors

  • Develops plans to meet short - term objectives

  • Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment

  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan

  • Participates on the shift leadership team to shape company priorities into defined, measurable actions

  • Monitors performance and implements action plans to correct out of tolerance metrics


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience leading a team in a pharmacy operation or other light manufacturing industry
  • Experience producing in a metrics driven organization
  • Proven ability to collaborate with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient at Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle a high volume workload
  • High school degree / GED
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible Schedule (This is a day shift role, work days are Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM or later. Schedule flexibility is required, overtime shifts are a normal occurrence and the Supervisor is required to work the additional shifts)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience with IRIS (Oracle) production system
  • College degree
  • Pharmacy Fulfillment experience
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Licensure 
  • Production planning experience
  • Experience creating and / or working with SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Experience working in a structured department where metrics and performance guidelines are tracked and monitored 
  • Currently licensed, or ability to obtain a license, from the Kansas Board of Pharmacy
