ICU Nurse Educator

There is a great opportunity for a Critical Care Certified Nurse Specialist (CNS) in northern Pennsylvania.

The ICU Nurse Educator will work in a 250+ bed facility, that offers a variety of services including cardiovascular, surgical and oncology services, among others. This award-winning, non-profit hospital has been offering quality care to its patients for over one-hundred years. This hospital is a part of a larger, integrated heath system, providing comprehensive care to thousands of patients annually.

The ICU Nurse Educator will use their skill set, knowledge and experience to provide exceptional care to patients and families. At the same time, they will provide administrative and clinical support to a talented group of clinicians. They will also work with nurse leadership to implement strategic goals in order to ensure that the hospital achieves its mission while staying financially feasible.

The Acute Care Educator will also contribute to the daily operations of the unit with limited supervision. The position will report to the Nurse Manager of Critical Care. The ideal candidate will possess astute critical thinking, organizational and team work abilities. The Critical Care CNS will also be knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest evidenced-based practices of critical care as they will be the leader of nursing education.
