The Surgical Suites provides the latest technology for orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery and microsurgery, including the Da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System. The Level 2 Trauma Center also offers convenient outpatient surgery

This Nurse Leader will function essentially as the Assistant Manager in the OR and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Manages unit employees for shift.
  • Coordinates staffing
  • Acts as onsite manager for assigned shift.
  • Serves as first step in chain of command
  • Serves as mentor/preceptor and resource for staff on all activities
  • In collaboration with manager, completes employee performance evaluations based on personal observations of and interaction with employees under his or her supervision in light of established expectations and employee competencies. 

  • Performs clinical rounds on all patients to observe staff performance and conferences with physicians and other disciplines.

This Service lines has many highly qualified nursing staff that are dedicated to continuing their education and training to better serve the intensive care patient. Several staff members have already obtained their CNOR or RFNA certifications.
