OT, Occupational Therapist Home Health - Full-time / Part-time

A full-time opportunity is now available for a Licensed Occupational Therapist with a community hospital in Virginia. This centralized location is at the heart of a desirable suburban community with proximity to larger cities, higher education and is rich in outdoor recreational opportunities.

The OT/PT will join a 100+ bed community hospital that features a 24-Hour Emergency Room, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Services, Sleep Center, Intensive Care Unit and Women’s Center. The hospital is one of Central Virginia’s top employers and provides care to patients within a multiple county radius.

In accordance to medically prescribed care, this Occupational Therapist will be responsible for designing treatment programs that restore essential patient motion and functionality and improve daily living. Alongside a team of skilled clinicians, the Occupational Licensed Therapist will utilize evidence-based practices and work to promote strength in the patient to assist in recovery and prevent future injury.

Occupational Therapy Specialists will have access to state-of-the art equipment to treat patients, and will be responsible for assisting patients in strengthening exercises to improve stability, mobility, balance and endurance. The OT, OTR will maintain proper patient records and play a critical role in the department’s achievement of quality measurements and patient satisfaction.
