Infection Prevention Nurse Manager

A 145+-Bed Medical Center on the Northern California coast is seeking a Nurse Manager Infection Preventionist to join their dedicated infection prevention team.

The Infection Prevention Nurse Manager will be responsible for daily operations of the infection prevention department. The Nurse Manager Infection Preventionist will collaborate with the Director of Quality, Risk and Infection Prevention to educate staff on infection prevention measures in compliance with Joint Commission standards, CMS, OSHA and state regulations.

The Infection Prevention RN Manager will improve the infection prevention department by data analysis and using evidence based practice. The Nurse Infection Preventionist Manager will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement plans to prevent healthcare related infections. The Manager Infection Prevention Nurse will conduct research on infection prevention methods and analyze data to determine changes in systems and hospital practices to prevent healthcare infections.

This non-profit faith based Medical Center is looking for an RN Manager Infection Prevention Nurse with acute care infection prevention experience, CIC certified and significant leadership experience in infection prevention. The Infection Control Nurse Preventionist Manager will have active involvement and promote hospital performance in unity with the hospitals mission and goals.
