An exciting and rewarding new opportunity is now available at a progressive and caring community hospital located in sunny Central California for a Public Health Nursing Manager.

The Nurse Manager Chronic Disease Program will oversee a brand new and multi-faceted department, which will involve Population and Public Health, Employee Health, and Transitional Care, at this constantly evolving healthcare facility. They will enjoy a large degree of autonomy in determining the direction and short- and long-term goals of this growing and important field.

The Population Health Nurse Manager will collaborate with the Program Nursing Director to devise far-reaching and innovative plans and policies for the success of this pervasive department. They will provide transformational leadership to a passionate staff of roughly 20 to 30 nurses and ancillary personnel in Public Health, Epidemiology, Occupational Health, and Infection Control and oversee all initiatives for the Transitional Care Unit to ensure optimally successful transitions between hospital departments, or from the hospital to home. They will act as an expert and important resource for their dedicated staff, as well as personnel and leadership from alternative departments, and additionally provide groundbreaking and supplementary research efforts wherever possible. Lastly, they will serve as an important figurehead for the new program and maintain open communication with involved stakeholders both within and outside the hospital.
