Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

A nationally recognized, not-for-profit hospital system in Eastern Tennessee area is currently looking to add a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join their supportive and friendly Anesthesiology team.

This hospital is is nationally recognized and consistently is recognized in the top 10% of hospitals nationwide in multiple specialties. They have acclaimed heart and emergency services programs, as well as a comprehensive oncology program. The CRNA would join a well-established Anesthesia Department that performs approximately 10k surgeries per year, including both inpatient and same day surgeries. Their major service lines include Ortho, Cardiac, Urology, General Surgery and GI. The CRNA would be responsible for delivery of anesthesia during main OR surgeries, in the maternity department and emergency airway support in all areas of the hospital.

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will report to both the Director of Anesthesiology and the Medical Director of Anesthesiology and join a team of CRNA’s that cover the OR, Same Day Surgery, Cath Lab, Special Procedures, OB and MRI Suite. Additionally, there is an opportunity to teach and educate staff, if the CRNA is interested. It is not a requirement of the job, however.

The CRNA position is located in Eastern Tennessee, close to the border of Kentucky. This region is known as the Mountain Empire.
