Intensive Care Unit Staff Nurse

A small community hospital in New Hampshire is seeking a Critical Care RN to join their Intensive Care Unit. Positioned near National Forests, lakes and rivers this area is widely regarded as a premier outdoor destination in the New England region.

This nearly 35-bed community hospital serves as a public health hub and has treated patients with a wide variety of needs for generations. The facility features a 24-hour Emergency Room, Orthopedic Surgery Services, Pain Management and Neurology Services. This facility has also been nationally recognized in operational efficiency.

This Intensive Care Unit RN will provide administrative and therapeutic patient care under the direction of the Charge Nurse and Department Manager. The CCU RN will treat patients with critical and/or life threatening needs following surgeries, traumas or organ failures. The ICU RN will share critical information with family members and patient decision makers in a comforting and caring manner.

Additional responsibilities for the Critical Care RN will include collaboration with physicians and ancillary services and support of the hospital mission and vision. The Critical Care ICU RN will also participate in continuing education as directed and play a critical role in the achievement of patient satisfaction measures.
