The Licensed Social Worker American Sign Language Specialist will join a 300+ bed acute care hospital campus that includes an Emergency Room that treats nearly 55,000 patients per year and an award winning Cancer Center. With over 100 years of service to the community this hospital is highly regarded as one of the premier hospitals in the Midwest!

This Psychotherapist Social Worker ASL will be responsible for treating deaf and hard of hearing patients that are experiencing mental health related issues such as depression and anxiety, personality disorders and brain injury recovery. The Mental Health Social Worker will develop patient care plans and monitor progress and patient follow-up.

As a member of a growing mental health service line that features a 25+ inpatient beds and treats tens of thousands of annual patients, this Deaf Hard of Hearing Therapist will assist patients of all ages ranging from children to geriatrics with awareness of self and in personal problem solving. The Sign Language Therapist Social Worker will provide proper patient documentation for the purpose of billing and coding and also serve a calming influence within a hectic atmosphere.
