Director of Healthcare Accounting

A wonderful career opportunity for is available at a Northern California Magnet Hospital for a Director of Patient Accounting.

This exciting opportunity will be targeted to Accounts Director candidates who have worked in the hospital inpatient acute care setting. The Director will be part of a community hospital that is dedicated to providing the best care possible for residents of the communities.

The Director will join a 350 plus bed premier medical facility that provides all traditional hospital services, including emergency, critical care, birthing, pediatrics, cardiology, surgery, imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, home health, hospice and community education. The hospital is also financially stable and growing.

The Hospital Controller will be accountable for developing, implementing and directing the accounting functions of the Medical Center including general ledger, accounts payable, and budgeting. The Director will play a key role in leading the activities of the Accounting Department, prioritizing and directing work flow as needed.

The Business Office Director will oversee the capital asset management process and develop and prepare capital asset reports for the CFO to review. The Controller will ensure all federal and state reporting and regulatory reports are completed and filed as required.
