Inside Sales Representative - Full-time / Part-time

You will be working with a telecom company that serves underdeveloped areas of California. They have 22 counties/projects that will be going live soon so they need to build out their sales team to get customers signed up for their service. The outbound calls in this job will be to upsell existing customers. For instance, if a customer only has phone, they will offer the cable and internet package. The incoming call portion of this job will be to inform potential customers of the services they provide, and when they will go live in their county/area. There will be some email follow up in this job but mostly phone.

Work Environment: Located in Millbrae, it is not a start up environment so it looks like a traditional corporate environment in which you will have your own cubical. Their are about 30 people in the office and they also have a Los Angeles office. Qualifications: inside sales

upselling Performance Expectations: Metrics - they do not work off a quota, they are going to look at their volume of calls to start. They are working on putting together quotas and formal metrics, but they will be expecting 40 calls a day for right now, and they will check for quality of call. This means, did they identify an opportunity to upsell, were they efficient on the phone? they will spot shadow calls to check this.


Training: This person will learn about the company and their products, they will need basic computer skills and they will be trained for two weeks and then slowly be expected to be up and running officially after three weeks.
