A Tier-1 Metal Stamping company in Sterling Heights is currently searching for a Maintenance Electrician for their afternoon shift. Candidates will be forming electrical and some mechanical maintenance and repair of equipment including stamping presses, robotic welders, industrial washers, conveyor systems, light facilities, etc. Candidates will be required to troubleshoot as well as edit PLC programs (RS Logix 5000, programming from scratch not required).
This is a 2nd shift position, working 50-56 hours per week on average.
Interested Applicants MUST HAVE:
*5+ years of recent experience as a Maintenance Electrician
*5+ years of recent experience as a Maintenance Electrician in an automotive background
*Ability to edit existing programs within RS Logix 5000
*Have experience up to 480v at the minimum
*Have strong troubleshooting ability
