PrideStaff is currently seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to work with a very reputable manufacturer in Arnold, MO. This is a great opportunity to join an incredible company in a temp-to-hire position.
Job Description:
- Review order for missing information
- Verify accuracy of product to be shipped including weight, skid count, carrier and delivery information
- Use appropriate carrier website to complete BOL
- Print invoices for any customs paperwork needed and take to accounting
- Complete Advance Shipping Notices
- Research trucking options for cost-effective and efficient shipper
- Answering driver questions
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of shipping and receiving experience
- Experience with Bill of Lading, ASN's and logistics
- Strong attention to detail
- Accurate data-entry
- Must have consistent and reliable means of transportation
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
- Must provide 2 work references (no personal references please)
