Position Summary
Remove materials from machines or equipment that is automatic or tendered by other workers. Operate machinery used in the production process or to assist machine operators.
Essential Job Functions
o Remove materials and products from machines and equipment, and place them in containers.
o Inspect materials and products for defects, to ensure conformance to specifications.
o Stack and sort completed parts into containers.
o Clean and maintain work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe work conditions.
o Set up receiving containers
o Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment
o Report defective parts to supervisor or quality control inspector.
o Follow instructions to identify and mark materials, products, and samples
o Follow standard work instructions.
Requirements
o Must be able to speak and read basic English to comply with positions, Safety, Plant & PPE procedures & requirements
o Must be willing to cross train
o Must be able to work required overtime
o Must comply with attendance and punctuality policy
o Must be able to lift 10 to 15 lbs. continuously
