Data Entry Admin – Part Time

 

Global company in Vernon Hills is seeking a part time motivated Data Entry Administrator. This is a long term contract position with an 8:00am-1:30pm Monday-Wednesday schedule. Pay is $14.00-15.00/hour based on skills and experience. As a Data Entry Admin, you will provide data entry support for a database and catalog project for the sales and customer service teams.

 

Data Entry Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take, edit, and upload pictures of parts into the online parts catalog.
  • Make follow-up phone calls to customers to ensure customer Uptime.
  • With minimal supervision, utilize a Microsoft Access front end to quickly and accurately select, copy and paste data into specific fields in a part record.
  • Data management and data cleansing using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, keep daily track of number of records updated versus to complete.
  • Use SAP to enter warranty orders.
  • Proofing documents such as work instructions, presentations, advertisements, etc.
  • Assist with designing and editing marketing materials.
  • Work within a small team to coordinate data entry efforts, prioritizing work for maximum results.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Requirements needed for Data Entry Admin:

  • Minimum Associate''s degree in a business related discipline is preferred, however high school diploma will be considered.
  • Marketing experience is required
  • Extensive experience with MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Some experience using Microsoft Access as a user (not developer) preferred
  • Ability to stay focused on repetitive data entry tasks for long periods of time
  • Needs to have strong attention to detail.
