Structural Fitter

1. Position: Structural Fitter (MUST know how to weld) 2. Pay (based upon experience, ability & skill level) $14 - $15 (Candidate will start at a Level C and slowly work their way up to Level A) 3. Shifts: Start on 1st shift 6:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for evaluation and training then switch to 2nd shift. Daylight shift is according to seniority and after training the candidates will work steady afternoon shifts. The candidate will be working 2nd shift for a number of years 4. Monday-Friday. Will work some Saturdays, not always. 5. Start date of assignment: ASAP 6. Is company open on Holidays? Not normally 7. Direct Hire 8. Dress Code: Steel Toed Shoes (must have own), Jeans & T-Shirt 9. What equipment do they need? Gloves, Steel Toed Shoes 10. It depends on the individual. If they don't have experience, they need to have had training in the disciplines (tradeschool, etc.) 11. Education Requirements: N/A 12. Lifting Requirements: Did not list. 13. Who will the candidate report to? Shop Superintendent 14. Where will the candidate report? For the interview reports to the main office. After hired will report to the shop. 15. Pay raises or bonus structure after probationary period? Raises anually in October and is based on the Level welder they are cateogorized as upon hire. 17. Littell workes on EXTREMELY LARGE weldment projects that range from buildings to bridge girders to rail way structures. Viable candidate MUST have prior structural fitting experience as well as welding background. Their main priority will be reviewing blueprints, laying the steel out to scale and welding it together. MUST also be familiar with running overhead pendant controlled crane. Must understand all details on structural drawings.
