The primary role is to lead strategic initiatives and projects alongside the Executive Team of the Workers’ Compensation / Auto business unit.  Position requires analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, M&A opportunities, new markets, products and partnerships. Additionally, the Corporate Strategy Senior Analyst will also oversee and execute strategic initiatives that are critical to the continued growth of this business unit.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Directly supports the Workers’ Compensation / Auto Executive Team in executing strategic initiatives
Drives the ongoing strategic business planning process to include the development of one and three year business plans
Analyzes current industry / market trends, competitive landscape and maintains corporate strategic intelligence
Supports the product development leadership team in conducting research on new market segments and products, making recommendations to management and developing and launching new offerings
Identifies potential acquisition targets and supports the due diligence and execution of business development and M&A related opportunities
Prioritizes key project tasks and deliverables and identifies and manages project risks, issues and dependencies
Leads meetings as needed between business owners, stakeholders and project team members to communicate status, risks and issues. Acts as a facilitator between the groups to resolve issues
Ensures consistent and frequent communication of project status with stakeholders
Maintains positive working relationships with functional staff and project teams in the delivery of project services that meet and exceed expectations
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or other applicable field
3-4 years of experience in an analyst role, or applicable combination of business and education experience
Strong working knowledge of the healthcare industry
Possesses advanced Microsoft Suite Knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and communication skills to perform analysis and present findings are required as part of the organization’s strategic planning function
Demonstrated experience leading large, cross - functional projects that have delivered high levels of business impact
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to bring projects to completion eliciting the collaborations of interdepartmental team members
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or master’s degree in other applicable fields
Experience or internship in strategic planning, consulting or project management
