About this job
This company is currently looking for skilled, set-up level, CNC Machinist for their Steel and Plastics departments.
On a day to day basis candidates will be given blueprints and parts and will then be required to do their own set ups, tooling changes and all other machining practices. This candidate will mostly be machining plastics.
This is a true job shop so there could be multiple set ups a day.
MUSTS:
-2-3 years of experience setting up and operating any type of CNC Mill or Lathe - Ability to read blueprints
-Ability to make off-sets
-Change feeds and speeds as well as make appropriate tool changes
-Ability to use all QC Equipment, micrometers, calipers, different gauges.
**ALL TOOLS ARE PROVIDED!!**
SHIFT:
This is a 2nd shift position. However, candidates will be training on 1st shift.
1st- 7am-3pm
2nd- 3:15pm-11:45pm
These are M-F but candidates must be open to Saturdays for OT.
PAY:
These positions are paying $15-19/hr based on experience.
