Description

This position is accountable for the transactional processing for the applicant/employee lifecycle within the HR database. Also responsible for effective and efficient data maintenance of the HR database and adherence to Company policies and legal compliance. Incumbent will direct all HR process following candidates' acceptance of offers.
  • Ensures all recruitment/hire processes in the Company Hiring Manual are implemented and followed. Performs audits on a regular basis reporting results to management.
  • Ensures all new hire paperwork requirements are consistently met. Follows established retention policies and performs audits to ensure data integrity reporting audit results to management.
  • Ensures all personnel activity of the associate is entered into the HR database. Performs regular audits.
  • Performs internal AAP compliance audits (employee life cycle).
  • Serves as the focal point for any external audits with regards to reporting and data.
  • Serves as the focal point for position control.
  • Utilize all HR reporting tools, i.e., manpower, headcount and required reports, to perform audits and analysis and reports results to management.
  • Recommends new methods to improve the effectiveness of Company processes to HR management.
  • Acts as lead by providing direction to administrative/clerical staff and provide training on an as needed basis.
  • Administers the Employment Verification Process.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED: AA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent related experience plus 6 - 7 years related work experience. Knowledge and experience of HRIS (strong preference for SAP experience); 3 years experience using a HR/Payroll database system. Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities. Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, supervision of administrative personnel, and experience in multi-tasking, ability to work with minimal supervision. May need to travel to other facilities and plants for meetings and/or Company business.

PREFERRED: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred. Previous Human Resources experience required.
