Primary Responsibilities:

Predict emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them
Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
Participate in the development of business strategy
Develop and manage business plans to achieve objectives
Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and / or approaches
Direct cross - functional and / or cross - segment teams
Deploy and maintain Applications / Systems
Work with software development professionals building portal applications in the J2EE / Portal environment
Building and managing relationships with business team to understand their goals
Proposing technology solutions to enable the business to meet/exceed those goals
Engaging in application architecture and design decisions
Delivering a robust self - service environment for the end user community
Implementing / maintaining a repeatable iterative software development methodology
Managing SDLC processes and associated artifacts
Ensuring ongoing compliance with SDLC processes
Communicating with stakeholders and management team on a regular basis in a concise manner
Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions
Ability to solve complex production issues

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of application development experience, including application architecture and design
Experience delivering web - based technology solutions to meet business needs
Experience with Java / J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate
Proven success using and driving a repeatable, iterative software development methodology
Track record of completing software development projects on - time and on - budget
Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence business leadership and technologists
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree
Experience with Maven or Apache
Experience with MarkLogic, RedHat OpenShift, DevOps
Experience with WSDL, SOAP, Webservices, XML Schemas, JDBC
Experience with WebSphere, Javascript, JQuery, JMS, JSP, Angular
Experience with no-SQL Admin
Experience with Big Data (preferably Hadoop, Hive, Storm, MapReduce, Spark)
Java5+ certified
Experience with offshore resources
Experience in healthcare industry
