Database Administrator IV - Infosphere, Datastage, Netezza, DB2 (111701) - Full-time

The Database Administrator IV will provide support for complex activities including off-shift support. Design and perform Database (Infosphere, Datastage, DB2, Netezza) administration maintenance tasks. Analyze, test and implement changes and enhancements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to technical design in partnership with developers.
• Collaborate with technology and/infrastructure staff on installs/upgrades & job designs.
• Perform ETL jobs performance and tuning activities.
• Create UNIX shell scripts in order to enhance/maintain current job flows and ETL infrastructure.
• Recommends technical changes, performance and tuning, and access design strategies
• Recommend best practices for software lifecycle management
• Installs and upgrade of software.
• Perform Day to Day Administration tasks.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a directly related field
• 5 + years of experience in Infosphere Administration, including analysis, design and implementation of Infosphere suite
• Infosphere security administration
• Expert in Datastage and Netezza performance and tuning
• Datastage deployment and troubleshooting.
• Change management experience.
• Netezza/DB2/Oracle Database administration experience
