Non-Par Network Contract Manager - Telecommute - Alabama / Northern Georgia - Full-time / Part-time

The Non-Par Network Contract Manager is a unique role within UnitedHealth Network focused on building relationships with non-par Medicare providers and bringing them into incentive programs without a contractual participation agreement. The role focuses on bringing physician groups into the incentive program and working with them throughout the year to leverage their access to tools and resources that help them maximize their bonus potential and deliver better care to members. This role specifically supports the Group Retiree business unit with tangential benefit and engagement with the broader UnitedHealthcare Medicare and Retirement organization.
 
This is a telecommuting role ideally located in Alabama / Northern Georgia.
 
Primary Responsibilities:


Assess and interpret provider needs and requirements

Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems

Solve moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analyses

Work with minimal guidance; seek guidance on only the most complex tasks

Translate concepts into practice

Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues

Coach, provide feedback, and guide others

Act as a resource for others
 
 

Required Qualifications:


Undergraduate degree

4+ years of career progression in a health insurance role

Knowledge of insurance claims processing

Strong presentation skills, establishing rapport with executives

Strong customer service skills

Ability to travel ~ 50% to provider locations in Alabama / Northern Georgia
