Are you comfortable with heavy lifting? Do you have a great attitude and experience with customer service? Aerotek is actively seeking candidates for a client located in Richmond.
For this specific client, candidates are responsible for lifting heavy boxes of files and delivering them to customers. We are searching for warehouse employees who are willing to go the extra mile to keep customers happy and work hard within the warehouse. Warehouse employees will be pulling orders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and when needed they will be driving cargo vans through 24' bobtail trucks.
- This is a majority warehouse position with some driving responsibilities and it can turn into a long term driving role.
- Warehouse duties include pulling 25-35 orders in an hour. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs and dolly more.
- Day to day will consist of going to various customers, interacting with administrative personnel all the way up to owners, collecting boxes and paperwork, loading them into a 24' bobtail truck, and returning them to the warehouse where you will be asked to help with the unloading/stocking of the boxes.
There are 3 main points to this job.
1. Must be willing to go above and beyond day to day duties and help others out when needed. Not being asked to help, but offering their services. (75% warehouse/25% driving initially)
2. Must have great customer service.
3. Must have a clean DMV and be comfortable driving a 24' bobtail truck
This is a day shift, Monday through Friday starting anywhere from 7AM to 9AM.
