A route Phlebotomist opening is available for a client site located in Harrisonville, MO.
The position is in a clinical, but they will be supporting the laboratory so they will only be working with patients for that specific lab. This will be the only phlebotomist working in the office.
The hours are part time:
Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri / 745am- 10:30am
Draws per day: 7-9
Age Range of Patients: Adults
This Phlebotomist is expected be a strong & independent worker. They won't have anyone there to help them so they must have experience working by themselves, taking patients, performing draws, using centrifuge and handling specimens to send back to the lab.
Minimum Qualifications (non-negotiable):
- Basic knowledge of CLIA, OSHA and HIPAA standards
- At least 1 Year of Phlebotomy experience is required; should be current within the last 6 months
- High school diploma
- Must have experience using a straight and butterfly needle.
- Success on the first draw
