Position is located near Melville, NY 11747.
Hardware distributor for the construction industry is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager.
Our client is seeking a dynamic professional and effective LEADER seasoned with RELATED industry experience. Main responsibilities will include but are NOT limited to: verify estimates, document management including contracts, purchase orders, change orders and lien releases. Responsible for verifying and complying with construction documents and sourcing products from numerous vendors to meet project schedules. Coordinate labor and material shipments to meet jobsite requirements. Meticulous documentation of communications, customer requests and incidents.
The successful candidate MUST have 6-8 years’ minimum experience in a related role.
Other requirements: Interpretation of architectural drawings and specifications, problem solving, organization, time management, computer savvy and excellent communication skills.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Hours: Mon - Fri 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
