POSITION SUMMARY

Our undergraduate summer internships are a great way to gain confidence, sharpen your skills and make a difference. You'll work side by side with people who value your enthusiasm and creativity. Internships last 10 weeks, 40 hours a week, from June 5th 2017 to August 11th 2017. During the summer program, you will also participate in:

* A cross-functional project that provides solutions to a real business issue Aetna is facing, and the chance to present their recommendations to senior leaders at the end of the internship

* Community service initiatives

* Mentoring program

* Networking events

* The opportunity to learn about our businesses and get exposure to senior leaders

POSITION SUMMARY

Within Consumer Health & Services (CH&S) you will you will support a critical team within the Marketing department that owns, manages and operates large scale, enterprise wide marketing technologies, headed up by Aetna's Chief Marketing Technologist.

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS:

* Must have a strong desire to learn, work with, and become an expert on marketing technology tools

* Knowledge of specific examples of marketing technology tools include, but are not limited to:

o Adobe Target (A/B & Multivariate testing on websites)

o Adobe Analytics

* Candidate will spend time working with marketing partners to help optimize the website by implementing A/B tests and then analyze and report on the results (and make recommendations to move forward)

* Candidate will work with business partners across the enterprise to help evaluate their marketing goals and then recommend and implement the technology that best enables them to meet their goals

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

* Passion for marketing and the technologies that drive it such as email, websites and mobile

* Must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to follow through on assignments independently

* Ability to understand and manipulate large amounts of data to gain insights and build business cases (ROI)

* Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time and meet deliverable dates

* Willingness to work in a fast paced, changing environment

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

EDUCATION:

* Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree

* GPA 3.0+ (desired)
