Registered Nurse PCU Days

Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area. Responsible for compliance with standards/policies during assigned shift. Responsible for supervising, assigning and directing activities of all licensed and unlicensed caregivers and support staff during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources. Ensures that Longview Regional's values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operation. Current RN license reconized by the Texas Board of Nursing American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) offered by LRMC within 6 months of hire via this facility's program Must pass Department Critical Care Level 1 within first 6 months of hire Previous Cardiac/Telemetry preferred Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course preferred Charge experience preferred
