About Us:

We are a fast casual Korean/Japanese restaurant (KoJa Kitchen), currently hiring for part-time and full-time employment to staff our brand new West San Jose Restaurant.

Positions Available:

? Line Cook (Full Time/Part Time depending on availability) - Start Date: mid- to late January 2017

? Cashier (Full Time/Part Time depending on availability) - Start Date: late January 2017

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:

? Efficient, dependable, and responsible

? Positive and high energy individual

? Strong work ethic w/ minimal supervision and ability to work independently

? Incredible organizational skills and high integrity

? Neat, clean, professional and well-spoken

? Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

? Flexible schedule

? Be able to lift, lower, and carrying packages that typically weigh 5 - 30 lbs.

? Adhere to all food safety regulations and ensure that appropriate sanitation, maintenance and safety standards are followed

Line Cook Job Description:

? Job Title: KoJa Kitchen Line Cook

? Job Type: Full or Part-Time

? Hours: ~30-38 Hours a week depending on availability

? Compensation: $14.00-$15.00/hr (Depending on experience)

? Attire: No uniform required -- Shirts and hat will be provided

? Experience: Not required but preferred ( Food Prep Experience is a plus)

? References: Please provide 2.

Job Duties:

? Operating multiple kitchen equipment (grills, deep fryers, oven, steam tables, rice cookers etc.)

? Cooking meats, rice, fries and various other ingredients

? Reading order tickets and assembling food in a fast and efficient manner

? Following direction and consolidating orders

? Maintaining appropriate quality control and consistently monitoring all food levels

? Maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards

? Cleaning Restaurant Facilities

Cashier Job Description:

? Job Title: KoJa Kitchen Cashier

? Job Type: Full Time or Part-Time

? Hours: ~20-38 Hours a week depending on availability

? Compensation: $11.50-$14.00 (Depending on experience)

? Attire: No uniform required - Shirts and hat will be provided

? Experience: Not required but preferred ( Food Prep Experience is a plus)

? References: Please provide 2.

Job Duties:

? Greeting and taking customer orders

? Providing a friendly, quality customer experience to each customer

? Inputting orders into a POS (Revel Systems) and accurately counting change

? Consolidating and calling out orders

? Maintaining appropriate quality control and consistently monitoring all food levels if handling food

? Maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards if handling food

? Cleaning Restaurant Facilities
