Our client located near Springfield Gardens, NY is seeking an experienced Production Manager with food industry experience.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations to ensure the production of quality food in a timely and efficient manner. This includes but is not limited to:
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations to ensure the production of quality food in a timely and efficient manner. This includes but is not limited to:
- Scheduling of production; managing employee schedules; manage and train staff; inventory control; distribution management; adhere to company policies and procedures
- MUST have at least 5 years of food industry experience and a background in manufacturing
- Previous and relevant management experience
- Strong understanding of hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP)
- USDA knowledge
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
