Field Service Technician, Full Time

Full time - $17.00 - $20.00 starting wage, depending on exper.  Immediate opening in Moody area.  New vehicle provided!

REQUIREMENTS (the must-haves):

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver license and good driving record (1/2 violation ok; cannot insure with a DUI!)
• Must have carpentry, electrical, plumbing, janitorial and HVAC experience/knowledge
• … Welding experience is a plus
• Must have safe work habits and attend bi-monthly safety meetings
• Natural customer service mindset (will often work at customer sites)
• Ability to lift 50lbs daily and safely lift more occasionally
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to work with a variety of hand tools in a proficient manner

 Responsibilities:

• -refurbishment, modification and maintenance of trailers on client site
• -conduct service calls
• -clean and wax floors; clean windows, walls, ceilings, fixtures and doors; check roofs, scrape & seal as needed
• -perform carpentry repairs as needed; customize trailers per client specifications
• -inspect electrical systems
• -Inspect and repair, if necessary, trailer brakes/hitch/axles/tires, locks and doors
• -Maintains proper inventory levels of all equipment/tools/parts needed for service task
• -Maintains a clean and organized working area inside and out, including lawn, parking lot and building
• -Maintains trucks/van in proper condition, scheduling all service needs ahead of time
• -Assist in ordering materials and unloading materials at office; some forklift operation
• -Office maintenance and repairs as needed
