Responsibilities

The Data, Reporting, and Technical Analyst collaborates with and supports a wide range of data access, reporting and technical need that support advanced system usage and integrations within and between internal and external systems and vendors. The Data, Reporting, and Technical Analyst helps the IT Applications Team and the business functional owners to implement, and optimize their use of IT applications related to technical issues, data access, and data usage / reporting.

The Data, Reporting, and Technical Analyst works closely with the functional owners, other members of the IT function, and vendor / contract resources to ensure that the business applications and related tools meet the business unit’s requirements for data access and reporting within and beyond standard capabilities.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technical data access, reporting, and technical implementation experience preferred including ETL projects. Must have a passion for data quality and accuracy.
  • Experience in data transformations and automation of data interfaces via scripting and tools.
  • Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to teach and instruct standard and basic reporting techniques to non-technical business resources.
  • Process analysis and process design experience as it relates to understanding business need and transformation of those needs into effective and efficient data access, transformation, interface and reporting solutions.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in formal management of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in supporting core and mission-critical corporate applications including Human Capital, Financial, Marketing, and Clinical systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering preferred
