Sweet Annie's is a locally owned/operated, well-loved pet sitting company located in Hanover County, Virginia. We service Hanover, but also extend our services to Clients in surrounding areas like Henrico, Ashland, Short Pump and Richmond. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy people to join our team. We are open seven days a week when animal care is needed. Dog Walker/Pet Visitor: Love working with animals, getting active outside AND getting paid for it? Then this could be the role for you! You will be responsible for helping our furry Clients get out and about with brisk walks and lots of fresh air. This usually includes other tasks like providing clean water, feeding/special diets, medication if needed, treats, and just making sure the pet is given the highest-quality of care, just like it was part of the family. Also, some Clients may need dog runs for high-energy pets. Although this isn't a requirement, please let us know if you'd be open to high-energy dog runs. This role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate visits during the day. Most visits are 30 minutes to an hour (longer times might be required).
Overnight Caregiver: Looking for a job with animals but have commitments during the day? A role as our Overnight Caregiver might be a great fit! This usually includes matching the Client's routine so that their furry family friend has the best quality of care in their home, where they feel most comfortable. Requires overnight stays at Client's residence (Client's are always screened to ensure neighborhood/residence safety). No personal pets allowed as this can cause stress in the Client's pet environment. Overnight hours range from 7:30pm - 8:00am.
