J.P. Morgan Asset Management is a global organization with a fundamental need for a DevOps Engineering Manager with experience in implementing configuration management solutions to automate our infrastructure organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of DevOps Engineers with a focus on Configuration Management
CFEngine and Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Chef
Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, or Python
Continuous Integration, Deployment and Operations
Apache, Tomcat, IIS, Bamboo, Jenkins
Atlassian Products: HipChat, Service Desk, JIRA, Confluence
Analyze infrastructure problems/constraints, inefficiencies, process gaps, risk and regulatory issues and engineer software or automation solutions
Automate complex functions to improve the delivery of information
Create console and web applications that automate redundant tasks and improve the operating support model
Partner with a global infrastructure division to innovate solutions
Java Development: ability to create medium to large sized Java web applications from start to finish on their own. This includes but is not limited to the following: client interaction, validating requirements, system design, frontend development, interaction with a Java EE application server, web services, experience with the various Java EE APIs, development builds, application deployments, integration/enterprise testing, and support of applications within a production environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years' experience and successful track record of technical leadership across a wide range of technologies
Working knowledge of configuration management tools
