Job Description:
Monitor PC screen of automated systems, use hand tools, calipers, micrometers as necessary. May need to help troubleshoot.
- Works safely. Complies with ALL safety working standards and practices along with all environmental safe practices and regulations. Understands Haz Mat: Can read and understands "safety data sheet."
- Able to operate and achieve the given target in a complex process under supervision.
- Able to troubleshoot individually for fairly simple machine problems
Executing periodic and regular maintenance individually to stabilize the machine.
- Able to troubleshoot under supervision for complex machine problems.
- Conducts performance testing as required. Insures that product/part conforms to all required specifications. Able to meet and maintain company quality standards.
- Ability to read/use microscopes, digital calipers & ruler. Be able to follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Maintains a clean and safe work area 5s.
Must be able to perform precise weight measurements and manage time. Perform daily, operational, routine and periodic maintenance checks. Recording and inspection on equipment including cleaning, checking and adding fluids as needed. Perform quality checks using microscopes, micrometer, measuring devices, digital voltmeter (optional), calipers, ruler and other related devices.
Work Environment:
Currently working 8am-5pm, in Feb/March they will go to 24/7 operation, so they must be willing to work Days or Nights and rotating weekends. The shifts will be 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Should have 2-3yrs Manufacturing/Production experience. Hands on experience such as working on cars, woodworking, or other similar hobbies or training may replace this professional experience. (example: if someone rebuilds cars on the weekend, this would be of interest).
