Job Description:
The Omelet Cook prepares all cold food items and cooks omelets for guests in Trevi's restaurant. This person is responsible for the consistency and quality production of salads/appetizers/dressings, and the preparation of daily requisition for food area and daily rotation of cold foods.
Responsibilities:
* Cooks Omelets and eggs to order for guests in Trevi's Restaurant.
* Assists in the stocking and preparation for the "Art of Breakfast", our upscale buffet.
* Communicate with the Chef to learn daily work tasks and their coordination, and complete daily prep list.
* Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame.
* Be knowledgeable of all stations in the restaurant.
* Be knowledgeable of plate presentations and preparations of all menu items.
* Communicate with all line cooks daily for proper pars and production requirements when needed in specified work stations.
* Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
* Food & Beverage Experience preferred.
* Knife skills and ability to cook omelets.
* Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
* Must be able to work weekends/holidays
* Must be able to start work as early as 5:30 am
