Job Summary The Adolescent Health Initiative (AHI) Project Coordinator will support AHI's efforts to provide trainings, resources and technical assistance on access to youth-friendly health care services to a national audience of health care providers and youth-serving agencies. This position will research and develop program materials and resources, respond to requests for Capacity-Building Assistance (CBA), coordinate with vendors, and assist with project support to ensure timely and accurate responses to customers and community partners. The Project Coordinator support professional development opportunities including the annual Conference on Adolescent Health and Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses. AHI will provide on-the-job training, but an ideal candidate should have relevant experience working with health care providers or community agencies and a strong desire to improve the healthcare landscape for adolescents and young adults. The Project Coordinator should possess strong organizational, communication, and customer services skills and enjoy working as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities* 1. Support AHI's efforts to provide trainings, resources, technical assistance and other CBA strategies on access to youth-friendly health care services

2. Manage requests for CBA and ensure timely communication and follow-up

3. Update and maintain the Find a Provider geomap for sexual health services

4. Coordinate with vendors for website, training, and professional development resources or events

5. Maintain resources and program information for AHI website

6. Assist with CME applications and speaker agreements for conferences and CME courses

7. Prepare materials for trainings, conferences and events

8. Assist with data collection and evaluation efforts for CBA strategies, conferences and CME courses

9. Assist with marketing, event promotion and social media strategies

10. Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in health education, public health, social work, healthcare administration, communications or related field

1-3 years of experience in a community-based organization, school, health department or other health care setting

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Excellent communication and customer services skills

Desired Qualifications* 1-3 years of experience in sexual health or teen pregnancy prevention efforts

Experience using project management software

Experience with website maintenance or basic graphic design

Microsoft Office Suite expertise
